HERSONISSOS KIDS BRING A FAIRY TALE TO ‘LIFE’

Children of the Hersonissos Child Care Center performed a dramatization of the fairy tale, The Forest that Changed its Name, at an open house event in the Bishop Ioakin Center in Ano Hersonissos.

The evening, co-sponsored by the township and Livani Publishing, featured the presentation of two Illustrated Child’s Books. The other book was One Brave Dog.

Guest speaker for the event was Liana Thenezaki, illustrator and author of both featured books.

Proceeds of the sale of the books at the event benefited the Horizon Organization, which works with children with cancer.
