QUESTION OF THE MONTH
What are your New Year
resolutions?
|
|

Andreas Hatzithomas:
I’ve stopped
making New Year’s resolution since I can never seem to keep them. But, in
the New Year I would like to see Olympiakos win the Champions League. I want
good health for myself and my family and also I would love to have a
girlfriend or wife. Also, I wish everybody a Happy New Year.
|

Pat Hammett:
I hate breaking
promises to myself, so I tend to shy away from making resolutions. Instead,
I make a list of things I want to happen: I have joined an art group in
Koutouloufari with a friend and I want to be as good as the ladies who
attended last year. Also I want to improve my Greek, both the speaking of it
and the understanding.
|

Terry Jackaman:
I have
difficulty in keeping resolutions, but I want to learn Greek as quickly as
possible as I hope to start school here this month, and I want to be able to
chat to the other kids. At home, my resolution is to keep on helping my Mom
and Dad, and also to try my best to always be good…but that is the difficult
one!
|

Stavros Korasanis:
In the upcoming
New Year my resolutions are, first of all, that I will do my best in my work
and try to help my clients more all the time and make sure that they are
satisfied with my help. My next resolution is for myself . . . to try to
make sure that I do not spend too much money as is so easy nowadays.
|

Jackie Smith:
I definitely vow
not to give up smoking or
drinking, but I will really try to eat less. Also, as myself and my family
are new to Kokkini, I want to make more friends here and will make a big
effort to try and learn to speak Greek. But, my main resolution is for all
the family to make sure that we do our best to make
Crete our home.
