HERSONISSOS NEWS

HIGH SCHOOL KIDS GET NEW COMPUTERS

During the general meeting of the Parents and Guardians Association, the Hersonissos Township turned over equipment for the computer workshop at the General High School, which included 15 fully loaded computers, complete with the necessary software and connected to the Net.

Mayor Spyros Danellis and the president of the school committee, Alekos Tsapakis, were on hand to make the presentation to Antoni Aggelopoulo, school principal.

“The local government considers matters of the new generation to be of the outmost importance,” the mayor said. “Knowing the time-consuming bureaucracy and the difficulties involving appropriations, we decided for this grant to be immediately available to our high school students, and according to the specifications of the Education Ministry for the computer workshops.
