Baptism:

A crowd of family and friends was on hand at the monastery of Aghiou Ioannou Theologou in Anopoli, and together with the happy parents Yiorgo and Vicky Syntihaki, all watched as little Dimitris gained his Christian entity. Mr. Yiannis Kokkinos had the honor to give little Dimitri his name and become his godfather. After the christening, a celebration followed at the Agrambeli in Malathes.

Ruby Tuesday:

Well, maybe it wasn’t Tuesday, but for long-time lovers and spouses, Peter and June Horsfall of Pano Vathia, it certainly was a ruby celebration – their 40th wedding anniversary. To celebrate there were no rubies – but one jewel of a holiday: a five-week trip, going via England to Australia to see friends in Sidney, Adelaide and Melbourne. While gone, daughter and son-in-law, Tara and Manos Xatzakis, also of Pano Vathia, will take care of their pets
