Question of the Month

If you were going to be stranded on a desert island what three luxury items would you take with you?

Simone Fracassi:

I would want my radio for company and maybe to keep some form of contact with the outside world. A very big crate of wine for the long thirsty days would be nice, the size depending on how long I am going to be there. Fish should be easy to catch, but I would like to take a bow and arrows to hunt for meat.

Jonneke Remidianakis:

I would definitely take a hammock so I will be comfortable. Also, a fly swat to keep away all the pesky flies which will most probably be around. The last luxury which I don’t know how it would work would be a daily newspaper delivery so I will know what is happening in the rest of the world.

Yiannis Vasakis:

That is a good question and as I am not used to being completely alone I would take my mobile phone. But what reception would I get there? . . . and then there’s the problem of the batteries. My fishing rod would go with me to catch food, and for something to do. Also, my radio to hear what is going on in the rest of the world.

Eva Sgourou:

My luxuries would be first my nail file. I would probably have to search around for firewood so I will have to take care of my nails. Then I would want a lighter to get my fire going as it will probably be cold during the nights. Last, but not least, for when times are not so easy I would like a large bottle of Famous Grouse.

Mike Fuller:

That is an easy question for me. First, I would like an unlimited supply of really good fillet steak. Of course, then it follows that I would need an unlimited supply of a really good Cabernet Sauvignon to go with the steak. Lastly I would take with me a bag of seed potatoes, and maybe some other seeds, to start my vegetable patch.
