Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Even The Temple of Doom or The Last Crusade never really measured up to the original Raiders of the Lost Ark, and neither does this one . . . but that does not make it a bad movie. Steven Spielberg once again pulls out all the stops which give you wall to wall action with amazing special effects. Forget about the plot, just sit back and enjoy. One of the best chases, and there are a few, takes place in the jungle and involves swords, guns, high cliffs, waterfalls, monkeys and killer ants. Kate Blanchett is wonderful as communist scientist Irina Spalko and Karen Black is back as Marion Ravenwood. Harrison Ford, almost 66, proves he still has the goods as the archeologist digging himself out of trouble. The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull lives up to its hype and offers plenty of classic Indy moments.
