Ho-Hum Birthday:

June Field of Kokkini Hani spent her 56^th birthday doing nothing special, just lying on the beach reading a book and dozing. At night she livened up enough to go to Hersonissos with her husband and friends for a meal.

Party Animal:

Not one . . . not two . . .but three! That’s how many parties it took for Doug Smith to celebrate his 78^th birthday. Doug, a long-time visitor to the area, had two parties in England to accommodate his large family, and then a third during his annual visit to Kokkini Hani.

Happy Birthday:  

Nikos Kontaratos of Kokkini Hani celebrated his15th birthday very quietly with friends, but is planning to celebrate again when he goes to Athens soon to visit his father’s family.  His mother, Froso, is the affable hostess of Pan Asia Restaurant.
