CRETE NUMBER THREE AS BRITS’ SUN SPOT

 While a record number of holiday makers from Russia and other former Soviet bloc countries are choosing Crete as their favourite destination, Brits are turning to Turkey, according to an industry survey.

For the first time in 40 years, Turkey has taken the first place as Britons’ No. 1 holiday spot, pushing Spain to second place and Crete to the third slot.
