HOME MONITORING FOR HEART PATIENTS

A new home monitoring device which offers remote, wireless patient management for those with life threatening cardiac conditions has been introduced by the German telemedicine device specialist, Biotronik.

The device has been praised by Professor Panos Vardas from the cardiology department at Iraklion’s University Hospital.

“With this new technology we are able to access patient data online anywhere in the world,” he said. “It allows physicians to tailor the treatment to our individual patients.”
