QUESTION OF THE MONTH

What was the most fun thing you did this summer?

Michael Wall:

My most fun thing was getting my first tattoo, and I was sober at the time. It’s the fallen angel on the back of my shoulders, and it symbolizes a friend who will always be looking over my shoulder.

Eva Tziraki:

There was a Greek – English wedding party at the apartments where I’m staying and everyone joined in with lots of wine, food and dancing to Greek and English music. What a night!

Yiannis Kaliakakis:

I have not done much so far, but I would love to see a Harlem Globetrotters game or any other American basketball team play a Greek team. That would really make my summer.

Leanne Stringfellow:

I came to Crete to work for the summer and found out I could go bungee jumping, too. So off I went. It’s a bit scary at the top, but when you get there you just have to do it . . . don’t you?

Yiorgos Douligeris:

The funniest thing for me, and some others, was being thrown into a pool fully clothed. I was having fun all night at a toga party and at four in the morning they ganged up and in I went.
