The Mummy: Tomb of the
Dragon Emperor
Directed by Rob Cohen, and even with a cast including Brendan Fraser, Jet
Li, John Hannah and Maria Bello, The
Mummy should have stayed in its crypt. We enjoyed the first Mummy film,
and the second was not too bad . . . but it should have stopped there. The
story line is the same as the previous films; Mummy rises, Mummy wants to
rule the world, hero must stop Mummy. But in this film the acting is poor,
except for John Hannah, who was a welcome distraction from the rest of the
cast. Set in Asia, the scenery is
beautiful, but the special effects are mediocre.
A very disappointing film; in fact this
Mummy is a
Dummy.
