January's Snowy Sweet
KOURAMPIES


INGREDIENTS

1,280 gr. butter
3 eggs
440 gr. sugar
1 tsp vanilla
80 ml. cognac 5 star
20 gr. baking powder
450 gr. almonds, toasted and lightly broken
2 k. all purpose flour
50 ml. water at the end

PREPARATION

Whip the butter with the sugar. Slowly add the eggs, vanilla and cognac, then, the flour, baking powder and almonds and knead well.  Add the water and shape into balls pressing in the middle to make a hole.

Bake at 170°C for 20 to 25 minutes. Leave to cool well and dust with icing sugar.
