BRITISH ENVOY TAKES OFFICE

 

David Landsman, Britain's new ambassador to Athens, is no stranger to Greece, since he formally served at the British embassy in Athens between 1991 and 1994 as secretary responsible for bilateral economic relations.

The new British envoy also is quite familiar with the Balkans, having served in the UK's diplomatic missions in Tirana and Belgrade, as well as in various Foreign Office departments on issues concerning the Balkans and south-eastern Europe.
