Gouves 0 v Gortys 1

After a slow start, the game livened up in the 10th minute with three corners in succession for Gouves, but all resulting in nothing. Then a spectacular shot by Gortys' Kirlakis sent the ball just wide and he then followed up with a long range shot which went over the bar. After 20 minutes, Kiriakakis headed into goal off a very long throw in by Frisoulis to make the score 0 – 1. Gortys had the most possession in the first half and, in the last minute, Gouves had an appeal for a penalty turned down by the referee. The second half started with a good move by Gortys but Dokos shot well wide. Gouves at last started to show a bit more rhythm and passion but another long throw by Frisoulis caused havoc in the Gouves defence. Gouves made a great move down the wing but the ball shot across the Gortys goalmouth and Belithakis came sliding in but could not make contact. A free kick taken by Gouves' Kastellianakis from 30 yards was well over the bar. Gouves were now pushing for an equalizer; Vladimir Kanai took a free kick which went to Kastellianakis who shot just over the bar. The Khronicles' "Man of the Match" was Number 61, Frisoulis from Gortys whose long throws were a constant threat to the Gouves defence.

Romanos 1 v OFA 1

After only two minutes, a corner was headed just wide by Romanos' Mihalis Tzanithakis. Romanos did the early attacking and had the ball in the net but they were ruled offside. A free kick from just out side the OFA box was taken by Manolis Kolaretakis but the shot went over the bar. A good clearance from OFA was needed to deny Stavros Spanakis a goal and another attempt on goal by Tzanithakis went just wide. Then came an excellent through ball to Stavros Spanakis who shot from 20 yards to make the score 1 – 0 to Romanos. From the restart a high challenge from Romanos resulted in OFA's Yiannis Loulakis' shot being deflected for a corner which was blocked by Yiorgos Protoyerakis. A foul by Nikos Eleftherakis caused a bit of a fracas between officials from both clubs, but both the referee and linesmen missed the unfair challenge on him just seconds before. At the start of the second half a free kick by Protoyerakis went into the box where Stefanos Arapoglou was brought down, but a penalty was denied. Romanos were doing most of the attacking, but, leading by only one goal, paid the price for not adding to the lead and, against the run of play, a free kick to OFA was taken and Yiannis Thimitroulakis headed in a very good goal to level the score. Now it was OFA pressing for the win but Protoyerakis was outstanding winning almost everything that OFA threw at him. A red card to Yiorgos Kiriazis changed the game and again it was Romanos on the attack but OFA's defence held on for a point.

The Khronicles' "Man of the Match" was Yiorgos Protoyerakis of Romanos who was solid in defence and won almost every ball.
