This film starts slowly but quickly picks up the pace, with Liam Neeson, in outstanding form, as Bryan Mills, a former government agent. The protagonist has given up his career to be closer to his daughter, Kim, played by Maggie Grace. However, his daughter is abducted by an organization involved in human trafficking in Paris, and Neeson is told he has 96 hours to find her.

Taken is full of jaw dropping action involving the dark world of prostitution, kidnapping, corruption and moral bankruptcy. If you enjoyed Jason Bourne and Man on Fire you will certainly love this film, which is directed by Pierre Morel.
