The
Gournes Association Growth and Environment, with its own funds and
initiative, undertook the difficult work of cleaning all signs and walls
sprayed with graffiti in Gournes, giving special consideration to school
areas on the old American base.
However, after a very short time, some unprincipled characters re-sprayed.
"One wonders if these graffiti artists "spray" their parents' homes in the
same manner," said a disgusted association member as he surveyed the newly
desecrated signs and walls. |
