EXCURSION AT
GORGE IN KARTEROS


 


 The Lasithi Mountain Climbing Association, with the cooperation of the Department of Programming, Growth and Social Policy in Alikarnassos, organized a unique excursion to the Astrakiano Kounaviano Gorge in Karteros.

The participants had the occasion to see from up close, not only the natural beauty of the gorge, but also the environmentally friendly interventions made  by the inter-municipal cooperative program by Alikarnassos, Kazantzakis and Episkopi townships. 

The gorge has five main entrances and one of them is from Karteros.
