Depeche Mode Disappeared - Enjoy The Silence . . .

Depeche Mode feature on the first page of all music blogs after their last minute cancellation. While their entire Greek public had gone up to Terra Vibe, the concert organizers, as well as the group's manager, announced, just moments before the concert began, that lead singer David Gahan became seriously ill and had to be hospitalized. The attending 20,000 fans indignantly walked towards the exits without knowing the precise reasons for his illness. Naturally, for many hours afterwards, internet communities like Face Book, MySpace and others, were filled with criticism.  Depeche Mode is one of the longest surviving groups that have come out from the 80s scene. To-date they have sold more than 75 millions disks.

Million Dollar Contracts for Carey and Jones:

Mariah Carey and Tom Jones will each collect one million dollars to sing at the opening of a resort, according to a well known music source. The 39-year-old diva and the Welsh star will inaugurate the most expensive resort in Europe, which is located in neighbouring Turkey and cost a whopping 926 million pounds to build. The Mardan Palace resort in Antalya belongs to the Russian businessman Telman Ismailov who once paid one million pounds to Jennifer Lopez to sing Happy Birthday to him. The resort offers 560 rooms, and the best suite will cost a reported 13,000 pounds an evening. A lot of other stars, including Sharon Stone and Sir Paul McCartney, have received invitations to attend the opening.

Together Through Life:

What can one say about the 67 year old legend who, even though approaching old age, continues to release disks and keep his public interested. His recent Together Through Life managed to easily reach the top of the American charts. A mixture of blues, swing, folk, boogie that accompany stories of people who wander, love and get hurt show us that Dylan still possesses that magic touch for which he became known and loved by a world wide public. One of his better disks without doubt.

Reality Check:

It is a fact that the biggest part of attention that the Teenagers have gathered is owed to their obviously adolescent approach to music. The verses seem to have been written by a fifteen year-old, while the composition surely does not reveal a mature and experienced composer. And if you perceive Reality Check as an inside joke, you will probably have a good time. Because the pop pieces can stick to your brain like bubblegum and you will pass your time pleasantly, wondering if indeed the lyrists are as shallow as they want to appear.
