Depeche Mode Restart Their Tour

The group had a triumphant return with their "Tour Of The Universe" in Leipzig, Germany. Over 50,000 admirers filled Zentral Stadium and became witnesses to an electrifying show. One month after his sudden malaise in Athens, Dave Gahan recovered his strength once again after an operation to remove a low grade malignant tumor in the urinary bladder. "I am grateful to my fans for their total support and I thank my family, my friends and the all doctors for their care," he said. "Returning once again on the stage is an indescribable feeling and I look forward to each of our concerts."

Whitney Houston Returns

Her first album in many years is due to be released soon. The until-now untitled album will circulate in early September from Arista Records, and until now the list of guest artists includes: will.i.am, Sean Garrett and Akon. Her last album was "Just Whitney" in 2002, which sold over 737,000 copies in the USA alone. In the past few years Whitney faced addiction problems with narcotics and also disagreements with her spouse Bobby Brown from whom she has separated.

Yes-Pet Shop Boys

This pop band, which has been worshipped so much by the mainstream, as well as the alternative public, returns with a new disk. And this in itself is a big achievement. "Yes" includes upbeat dance pieces as well as pop ballads that will keep us company in summer. Though the particularly difficult Pitchfork did not even give the group a base, if you like pop, this is a disk that you can't ignore. And you mustn't really forget that, above all, music is for amusement…

21st Century Breakdown

Five whole years after "American Idiot," and even more from "Dookie," Green Day returns with a disk that takes risks and challenges simultaneously. "Breakdown" is full of ballads, but also with some more powerful pieces that talk about wounded hearts, falling castles and other metaphors which show the intensity in the world today. Once more, Green Day prove that the world around them is something of a deep concern and they impress with their music as well as with their verses.
