A meeting to discuss issues involving a sewerage network and biological cleaning for the two settlements of Prassas and Karteros was held recently.

Attending the meeting were Manolis Pagomenos, chairman of  Alikarnassos Sewerage and Water Works; vice mayors of Alikarnassos and Gouves Antonis Perisynakis and Yiorgos Merambeliotakis, respectively; the presidents of the cultural associations of Aghia Fotini and Karteros, and other technical advisors.

"We're moving ahead in the improvement of daily life for our citizens," Mr. Perisynakis said. "We mapped out the bases for the two municipalities to jointly deal with these problems under the aegis of the sewerage and waterworks agency, because we are concerned for the protection of health of our citizens and the protection of the environment. We are optimistic that with this common goal we will soon have visible results."
