 CAP FUND RAISING
SOCIAL EVENING


Not even a power outage could darken the spirits of the CAP officials as they held their first fund raiser as an official organization.

Around 60 people attended the candle-lit evening held at Wuibys in Kokkini Hani and over 200 euros were raised from a tombola and grab bag.

All prizes were donated by local businesses and the buffet was supplied by the Belvedere Hotel in Hersonissos.

Guest of honour was Gouves Mayor Yiorgos Nikolakakis, a strong supporter of animal welfare. The event was held in conjunction with Manolis Spatharakis' animal shelter on the old base, which has many kittens and puppies in need of homes.  Anyone interested or willing to help out in any way should telephone Manolis on 6936-742313 or Josette on 6975-743084.
