HALLOWEEN PARTY
IN MALIA CAFE


 Although Halloween, October 31, is mostly celebrated by foreigners, each year more and more local residents are donning costumes and masks and joining in the merrymaking.

One of the biggest parties this year is scheduled for the Queen Café in Malia, where owners Vaggelis Patronias and his wife Sarah have put together a lavishly decorated event, complete with masks, pumpkins, costumes and eerie atmosphere, to begin at 7:30 p.m. 

In addition to a party buffet and special games for children, there will be a contest for the most original costume with the winner receiving a plaque and free drinks from the bar.
