Paranormal Activity

In this excellent horror movie written and directed by Oren Peli, a carefree couple live in a house which is haunted by a demonic spirit. They decide to film their home at night while they are sleeping in hopes of catching evidence of the ghost. Then, when things start happening, it is everything a scary movie should be, and much more. It is difficult to say more about the film without giving anything away, but it takes you back to films like The Exorcist, Halloween etc. And, there's an excellent performance by Katie Featherston, who starts out as a sweet young woman and ends up on the verge of a nervous breakdown. International reviewers have rated it as "the scariest movie of the decade."  Happy dreams!
