New band to replace Oasis:

Searching for the creation of a new band are Liam Gallagher and the remaining members of Oasis, according to sources. In an interview with an Italian radio station he confessed that they will continue composing music, but changing the name of the band. Liam Gallagher founded the band in 1991 with Paul Arthurs, Paul McGuigan and Tony McCaroll. Noel, Liam's brother, entered the group a little later and undertook the duties of basic composer. The Gallagher brothers went on to become the more stable members of the band, while the current lineup includes Colin Archer on guitar and keys, Andy Bell on bass and Chris Sharrock on drums. Noel, after leaving, was quick to assure his fans that he will not stop composing music.

Biographical film of John Lennon:

On December 26, the film Nowhere Boy, which deals with John Lennon's childhood, will finally be released, according to a popular music portal. The script of the film was readied by Matt Greenhalgh, who was also the person behind the film Control. In the leading roles, Aaron Johnson makes a first-time appearance as John Lennon, Kristin Scott Thomas as the aunt of the talented musician and Anne-Maria Duff as his mother. The rest of the cast includes Thomas Brodie Sangster as a young Paul McCartney and Sam Bell as George Harrison. Robert Bernstein, Douglas Rae and Kevin Loader produce, while photography belongs to Seamus McGarvey. Sam Taylor-Wood directed the film.

She Wolf:

She is one of the few pop stars who can be sexy without being excessively cheesy. Shakira, with the exotic voice, returns as a representative of the pop scene once again, but this time with plenty of disco, synth, post-punk and anything of fashion at the moment, even in the alternative music scene. Obviously the fact that she keeps company with Ladytron, has influenced her considerably. The Latina singer gains enough points because unlike other starlets who obviously follow their managers' and image-makers' orders, Shakira shows an authentic "craziness" with what she creates. Even if you are not a pop fan, She Wolf will make you shake your body.

If On A Winter's Night:

With an album dedicated to his beloved season, the winter, Sting returns. If On A Winter's Night contains an abundance of songs that reflect all aspects of winter, and the result is a soulful musical journey, full of recollections. Sting exhausts his creativity through the winter season filtering different types of music and the result vindicates him. His new album is classy and different. In the new album he has written two songs himself, Lullaby for an Anxious Child and The Hounds of Winter. The rest are traditional British songs, like Gabriel's Message, that comes from the 14th century, and the traditional ballads, The Snow it Melts the Soonest, Now Winter Comes Slowly by Henry Purcell, and an adaptation from the song by Schubert Der Leiermann.
