CANCER SEMINAR FOR ROMA WOMEN


A seminar regarding the prevention of breast cancer was organised by the Sociomedical Centre for the Gypsy population of Nea Alikarnassos and was held at the Youth Multicentre of the Municipality.

More than 50 Roma women took part in the event, which was highlighted by a talk by surgeon-oncologist Dr. Ilias Sanidas, who specializes in breast diseases. He spoke about preventive methods concerning breast cancer.

The event was made possible with the help of the volunteer association against cancer, "AgaliaZo".
