SWEET TALKING

CHOCOLATE LOG


INGREDIENTS

400 ml. milk
250 gr. margarine
500 gr. digestives

30 gr. or 3 tbsp cocoa
360 gr. Icing sugar
200 gr. walnuts thickly crushed
50 ml cognac

 

PREPARATION

Beat the margarine and sugar very well. Dissolve the cocoa in the milk. Break the digestives into very small pieces and soak in the milk. To the margarine mixture, add the milk, the cognac, the digestives and the nuts. Cut a big piece of tinfoil, and wrap the dough with it, making it into a log shape. Then, put the log in the freezer for a few hours and serve. Optionally, roll the chocolate log in truffle.

(NOTE): In the picture, we created a dessert starting with a square piece of Bisquick pastry. We poured chocolate over it, then a piece of the chocolate log and garnished it with one strawberry.
