Two local artists, Keti Rokana-Kokkinou of Anopolis, and
Kiki Alexaki-Hronaki of Gournes will
have their works exhibited at two notable art exhibitions in March.
Mrs.
Rokana-Kokkinou's works will be shown in the exhibition entitled
"Natural and Man-made Works of Art" at the Gate of Aghios Georgios in
Liberty square in Iraklion from March 15 to 24.

She will show naturally sculpted
rocks, painted rocks, ceramics, photography and other art in various other
materials. Her works show a harmonious co-existence of ceramic and stone, as well as
other materials that inspire the artist daily.

Mrs.
Alexaki-Hronaki, a noted writer as well as artist, will exhibit her works
in the new Dali Gallery, adjoining the Dali Café in Anopoli, from March 6 at
20:30 to March 28.
The exhibit is titled "the 2nd period of caves" and the work
is on paper with dry pastel. In line with the artist's temperament, her new
work shows "introverted cave landscapes which follow a necessary expression
of our difficult times."
At the exhibit's opening night, Dr. Nikos Hronakis will play original
songs.
