Hersonissos 2 - Korinthos (Mainland) 1

A victorious premiere for the new coach of Hersonissos, Manolis Papamatthaiakis. The former coach of the Patouhas team saw his new team take a gold triple with Tzanetis as the star. The two teams played clean football, creating wonderful moments for their fans.  And naturally, Tzanetis was the man of the match for scoring in the 91st minute and shaping the end result in his team's favour and giving his team 3 points. Korinthos had its first chance on just the second minute of the game but the ball went out. In the 8th minute Hersonissos answered with a goal from Kitsas. On the 16th, another chance for Hersonissos on a second goal but the pass from Hanti to Araviakis was a bit too strong.  The Korinthos team evened the score on the 33rd with Patsiavouras. In the second half, both teams continued to play a good game. On the 49th , a lost chance from Kitsas. On the 71st Tzanis threatened but the ball went out but he delivered on the 91st. From Hersonissos, Tzanis, Kitsas and Anoyianakis played well while from Korinthos, Damiano and Dimitriadis stood out.

PANOM 2000 (Malia) 1-A.O.Kaminion (Iraklion) 3

A very good game took place at the Malia stadium, even though the grounds did not make it easy for the players. The Iraklion team managed to take the triple because the young Malia footballers did not manage to maintain the advantage they had during the first half. During the first half the Malia players created many opportunities and on the 15th they scored through Partheniadis. AOK answered back on the 22nd with Tziotis but the Malia goalkeeper blocked it impressively. On the 41st Ikonomakis lost an unbelievable chance to even the score for AOK. The second half was definitely dominated by AOK. Just on the 48th Ikonomakis made it 1-1. On the 49th, Papagrigoriou lost a chance to make it 1-2 but on the 60th the same player succeeded pushing his team ahead and on the 91st Papagrigoriou again made it a final score 1-3. Platakis, Partheniadis and Kritikos stood out in PANOM2000 while Papagrigoriou and Ikonomakis played excellently for AOK.

 Thiagoras (Anopoli) 5 - Piyaithakia (Iraklion) 2

In rain and strong winds, Thiagoras kicked off and went straight into attack with Moraitakis putting in a decent cross but there were no other Thiagoras players on hand to connect. After 15 minutes, Moraitakis put the ball in the net to score the first goal for Thiagoras. In the 23rd minute, a free kick for Thiagoras was taken by Efstathiou, and Kallipolitis was on hand to tap the ball in for the second goal. Thiagoras were having most of the play but  Piyaithakia had a good shot which was saved by Thiagoras' Skoulas. Thiagoras, now in control, had three players going close for a third goal and then Moraitakis got the ball in the penalty area, shot and scored in the 44th minute to make it 3-0. In the second half Thiagoras went straight onto the attack and Efstathiou made a long range shot which was just over the cross bar, then Patounas made a shot which was just wide of the post. Moraitakis again surging forward and made a shot but Angelithakis was equal to it pushing the ball around the post for a corner. Thiagoras were awarded a penalty which was taken by Spouyiathakis who scored from the spot. Piyaithakia managed to pull two goals back from Koukouritakis and Koutsakis to make the scoreline 4-2 but then Thelistathis scored from 20 metres to make the final score 5-2. The Khronicles "Man of the Match" was Pavlos Moraitakis who was a constant threat with his pace and determination.

Romanos (Elia) 6 - Thamasta (Rethymnon) 0

The first chance went to Thamasta, but Tsiriyotakis' shot went over the bar. A free kick to Romanos brought a brave save from Kouvakis. After 14 minutes Romanos went ahead from a cross by Protoyerakis to Markou, whose shot was too good for the keeper. Both teams were finding it difficult to get a breakthrough, but with minutes left in the first half, Romanos scored again with Spanakis crossing to Protoyerakis who headed in to make it 2-0. Within a minute this time Potoyerakis crossed to the man in form, Markou whose shot went in to make the score 3-0. In the second half, quick thinking by Romanos' goalkeeper, Bouthamis, who passed the ball to Markou, who ran on to chip the ball over the keeper in the 54th minute, made the score 4-0. Romanos' Lasithiotakis made a good run and crossed but the ball went out for a corner from which Mesothiakakis scored to make it 5-0. Later Markou broke down the defence and scored in the 71st minute. In the 79th minute Markou was substituted, leaving the pitch to a rousing round of applause. The Khronicles "Man of the Match" was Thanasis Markou with another display of how to score goals.

 Football:
