"Eggs should not
come from hens that have no more than the space of a sheet of paper and
cannot move," a CAWG spokesperson said. "During the run up to the Good Egg
Awards, it became obvious that companies were not going to change their
source of eggs unless customers demanded it." CAWG is now
running a public awareness campaign urging consumers to buy eggs that are
Free Range or Organic. In conjunction
with the campaign, CAWG has issued a Greek Compassionate Shopping Guide
