 MOHOS BIOLOGICAL CLEANING

 

Many residents and a host of government officials were on hand for the recent grand opening of the Biological Cleaning Plant in Mohos. Pictured here cutting the tape at official ceremonies are (left to right) Iraklion MP Vasilis Kegeroglou, Euro MP Spyros Danellis, Undersecretary of Economy Stavros Arnautakis, Iraklion MP Manolis Stratakis, Iraklion Prefect Mrs. Vangelio Schinaraki and Malia Mayor Mr. Kostas Lagoudakis.

The cleaning plant was a team effort of the Regional Business Program of Crete, Program of Public Investments and Malia Municipal Water and Sewerage. The cleaned waters will be used in the irrigation of olive trees.
