With this month’s edition, The Khronicles, the area’s only bilingual newspaper, celebrates its fourth anniversary of serving the communities on Crete’s north-east coast, from N. Alikarnassos to Agios Nikolaos, with local news, features and columns in both English and Greek.

“As we start our fifth year, we are happy to announce another expansion move,” reported the newspaper’s publisher, Sofia Klidi. “We have now extended our distribution to the east end of the island, to include Sissi and Aghios Nikolaos.”

Mrs. Klidi said that there is now a distribution center located at the British Food Shop in Aghios Nikolaos and anyone wishing to have the newspaper in their shop or business can now pick up copies there. Also, the Halkidakis Super Market in Aghios Nikolaos now carries The Khronicles.

“We want to thank our talented staff and contributors, our advertisers, and, of course, our dedicated readers, for making the Khronicles the success that it is,” Mrs. Klidi said.
