‘SPRING FORTH’ IN
N. ALIKARNASSOS


Α number of N. Alikarnassos’ traditional customs were revived during the recent “Spring 2010” cultural event celebrations that took place recently at the municipality’s Centre for the Elderly (KAPI).

The event included a music and dance program dedicated to spring; flowers and pastries were on offer; an art show exhibiting paintings by students in the adult education programs of the Iraklion province; mosaics by the KAPI team, and art works by the kids from the day-care municipal centre.

The affair was organized by the Planning of Growth and Social Policy Agency of N. Alikarnassos, together with KAPI, the cultural association “Artemisia”, the municipal Conservatoire and the N. Alikarnassos day-care station.
