Inception

Written and directed by Christopher Nolan, Inception combines the action of The Dark Knight with the plotting and mind-bending of Memento. This stunning, all action film, is about Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) who is skilled at stealing secrets from deep in the subconscious mind during dream state, a fete that has made him an international fugitive. But he is offered a chance to redeem himself…by planting an idea instead of stealing one. DiCaprio is excellent, and is supported by an excellent cast including Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ellen Page and Michael Caine, among many others, who all join to make this film so exceptional. The cinematography, the set designs and all the special effects are excellent, but this is a film you have to see twice to fully understand everything that happens…but it will stay on your mind for a long time afterwards.
