“The subject of the Kokkini Hani school building
project has worried us for many years now,” the mayor said. “Since
2006 it has been entered in the private/public co-financing programme but
never got off the ground.” Mayor Nikolakakis added: “Our own objective was to
return the project to the Organization of School Buildings but the problem
was finding financing. So we entered it in the Fourth Community Development
Programme and we believe that by November all necessary studies will have
been completed and afterwards the district will be able to undertake the
actual building of the school.”
