The “Keramon” Association (Friends of Cretan Ceramics) has announced a spectacular event which will allow Cretan potters to have a rendezvous with their history.

From September 30 to October 3, at the old base in Gournes, there will be an endless game with clay, fire and smoke. Activities will include traditional pottery making with potters from Thrapsanos and Margaritsa; a workshop of modern pottery making; primitive pottery making; Cypriot ceramics workshop; ceramics for beginners; children’s workshop, plus ceramic art from France, Sweden and Brazil. Also, a lecture and a tour to the recently discovered ancient pottery places in Gouves will be conducted by an archaeology team.
