An evening of entertainment featuring a lively music-dance program (from Elvis Presley to Maleviziotis), an art exhibition, a wine tasting and even complimentary ice-creams  by Kokkini Hani’s Spyridon Patisserie, was held at the popular Cafe-Bar Pagopoieion in Iraklion.

The original idea was created and organized by noted British graphic designer Clive Birch, now a resident of Iraklion, and all proceeds went in support of the charity organization, RODANTHOS, for improving health services in University Hospital of Iraklion.

In addition to creating special events, Mr. Birch provides information on all of the city’s many cultural and entertainment events through his Now Heraklion website (www.NowHeraklion.com). The site is presently in English only, but plans are in the works to expand to Greek.
