KEN JESADA, Kokkini Hani (Thailand): I love the hip hop music of Nelly. You can dance to his music or just listen to his lyrics. They tell some great stories, really powerful words. I have about 10 of his albums, and it's all very, very good. If I would have to pick his all-time best, for me it would be the song, They Say Hey. But like I say – he's the best.
PAOLA IOANIDIS, Gournes (England): My favourite singer-songwriter of all time has to be Elton John. I must have played his Yellow Brick Road album over 2,000 times. All his music is meaningful, while, at the same time, entertaining. I saw him in concert recently, and he hasn't lost a thing – he is still great after all these years.
CHRISTIAN BRUNS, Pano Gouves (Germany): You know I'm a bit crazy when it comes to music, but my favourite songwriter/musician is Blixa Bargeld who founded the German band, Einstürzende Neubauten. He is extremely talented in almost any field of interpretive art. In addition to his work with Einstürzende Neubauten, which he formed in 1980 and is still hot, he tours with Nick
Cave and the Bad Seeds, another exceptional band.
ROY STRIDE, Elia (England): For me, they don't get any better than singer, songwriter Bob Marley. He is considered to be one of the greatest songwriters ever, and is responsible for having popularized the Jamaican raggae music throughout the world. His album Legend, which was released after he died, has sold over 12 million copies, making it the best-selling raggae album ever.
