While hotel management and local residents complain, officials say it will be finished "soon." Paul Burns of London, a guest at the hotel, said it doesn't bother him – "it's not like we booked a room with a view." However, his wife, Natascha, in a bit of typical British understatement, said: "it could be better." We couldn't find "soon" on our calendar – we only hope it falls somewhere before the start of the rains. If not, the hotel could stay open and offer mud-bath holidays.
